What Is UVB Light Therapy And What Are The Benefits?
Narrowband UVB devices can treat a variety of skin conditions, actively helping cure the spread of Psoriasis, Vitiligo, Eczema and Scleroderma. These machines are medically approved, giving you the ability to treat your condition from your own home, whenever you require treatment.

For the first few times using the machines, this might taking place bi-weekly for only a minute, but the aim is to gradually increase the dosage as time goes on.
It is estimated that the symptoms improve noticeably or go away completely for a while in 50 to 90 out of 100 people. Side effects may occur when using the light therapy machines, but this varies from person to person. As the lamps use a concentrated form of UVB, the results are proven to have a 98.8% success rate. Whilst there is no defining cure for skin conditions such as psoriasis or vitiligo, this remedy of using Philips 311nm UVB Narrowband lamps is a well-established therapy, highly recommended by doctors and professionals globally. Most people who use our units see improvements in their skin after using for 6-8 weeks.

How Does UVB Treatment Work?
Psoriasis is a common disorder caused by the rapid production of new skin cells, causing red scaly patches. Up to 3% of the UK population is affected by the non-contagious condition which can cause significant disability. For those who have access to UVB treatment at their local dermatology unit, a course usually entails three visits each week for between eight to ten weeks.
It works by calming down the immune overreaction in the skin. Beware of websites trying to mislead you. Do not be deceived by a photo of a Philips lamp displayed on an unqualified traders’ website. Some traders’ state, that although their lamps are not branded “Philips” they are in fact manufactured by Philips. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS!!
